Overnight Summer Camp Program

Summer Camp is an overnight program that enriches the lives of up to 800 children from across Western New York every year. We offer eight 5 day sessions that provide life changing opportunities throughout the summer months to children ages 8-17.

At Cradle Beach, we provide a healthy environment and organized activities to promote socialization, independence, and decision making in an atmosphere of love and acceptance.

Programming

We offer a fully integrated program for children with and without disabilities, everyone plays, eats, and attends activities together.

Play Station Activities Include:

  • Sports
  • Swimming
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Computer Technology
  • Dance
  • Sensory Room
  • Living Classrooms (STEM)
  • Archery
  • And more educational activities

Our play stations allow children to explore educational and recreational areas of interest they likely could not access in their day to day lives. Due to the diversity of the children we serve, we find that our campers develop a better sense of how to interact with others and how to learn from others who are different than themselves.

Pioneer Campers

Who are Pioneer Campers?
Pioneer Campers (PC’s) are 13-16 year olds that are role models for the younger campers. The PC’s develop leadership skills, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and a desire to serve others.

We expect Pioneer Campers (PC’s) to be positive role models for the younger campers.

Pioneer Campers (PC’s) stay overnight for 5 days and are housed in separate cabins. Pioneer Campers can select one of the 8 sessions throughout the summer.

PC’s have the ability to earn Community Service hours by attending our Summer Camp Program.

PCs may come any session.

Interested campers should contact Gabriele Clark at 716-549-6307 x206 or e-mail gc****@*********ch.org for more information.
